The Bow River has a Prime fishing destination called the "Blue Ribbon" section. This part of the Bow River has Larger than average Trout:
It has been said that the Bow River in & around Calgary on average holds approximately 2500 fish per mile in the Blue Ribbon section (Calgary south to Carsland AB), and when there are that many trout in the area you’re chances are very good to hook onto a nice Brown Trout or Rainbow Trout. That is, as long as you know where to fish and what to use. When you do hook onto one, hang on tight, these fish have an attitude.
But that's not all! It does not stop at the Bow.
There are other fantastic area's that have scenery that is second to none; Kanaskis and Crowsnest Pass areas, and the fishing in these areas can be exceptional. We will provide you the keys to unlocking the secrets of catching these wild trout and we will show you where the hotspots are at that time of year.
